Zohreh Ellison has lived in Iran, the UK, Singapore, and Australia. Declining health prompted her to practice yoga and become an instructor. In 2010, she was invited by Mary Bowen, a Pilates Elder, to join the highly selective PASSING THE TORCH™ program. She went on to complete a second PASSING THE TORCH program with Elizabeth Larkam.
Zohreh strongly believes in CoreAlign® and Pilates as platforms to connect the body and mind. A Certified Teacher of the Pilates Method Alliance (CPT- PMA®), Zohreh also holds certifications from the Physical Mind Institute®, Stott Pilates®, Gyrotonic®, TRX®, the Center for Anatomy & Morphology at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine, and the Fascia Research Summer School at Ulm University in Germany.
Most recently, Zohreh founded Kailua Core Fitness LLC, Hawaii’s CoreAlign® training center.
