It was June of 2025, the very beginnings of Centro Pilates Studio. In search of the right fit for the new studio space, Balanced Body equipment was always our top choice. I was ELATED to stumble upon the brand new Bravo Reformer Tower combo. It felt like the perfect evolution of what I love, my roots on the Studio Reformer, with the twist of modern evolution and advancement in our Pilates realm.
The Bravo beautifully honors the classic studio reformer while introducing a sleek, modern, eco-friendly polywood frame, a smooth transitioning spring bar, that we refer to as “the magic carpet ride” (for shorties like me, or my 6ft + peeps) and the new footbar, that mimics the original high, low and down placements, but with a sturdy connection. When set, it feels solid and supportive which gives new clients confidence and experienced clients and practitioners recognize and appreciate its new solid design.
That continual movement expansion and revolution, with the celebration and recognition of the original designs and eco conscious approach is what is so exciting about the Bravo and we are so grateful to represent such history and innovation at Centro.
A memorable experience really highlighted its impact: someone from out of state found us on social media because we showcased the Bravo. She reached out with a question, and I offered to give her a video overview of the Bravo’s features. After our FaceTime conversation she was convinced to choose the Bravo for her own home practice. It’s been amazing to see how much enthusiasm and curiosity it’s sparked—not just among our clients, but among other Pilates instructors, as well as friends from afar, who are intrigued and see the value in its combination of heritage and modernization.
In essence, the Bravo is a cornerstone of our studio. It’s a perfect reflection of what we value: respect for tradition, commitment to sustainability, and that touch of sleek elegance that truly inspires everyone who walks through our doors. Frances Zukowsky is an NPCP-certified Pilates instructor and the founder of Centro Pilates Studio in Tucson, Arizona. With more than fifteen years of teaching experience, she specializes in neuromuscular re-patterning and helping clients build strength and balance that carries into everyday life. Frances is also a continuing education credit (CEC) provider through the National Pilates Certification Program and offers private sessions, group classes, and continuing education workshops both in person and online, and is passionate about honoring classical Pilates while supporting its thoughtful evolution within today’s movement community.
