Every corner of this beautiful country is amazing. Below are just two (of many) tailored recommendations for extending your stay based on your travel experience: one for first-time visitors eager to explore Italy’s iconic cities and another for seasoned travelers looking to discover Italy’s lesser-known treasures. Both options could be experienced as day trips or overnight stays, and all these places are within two hours of Bologna by car/train.
